A reproduction of a skull of Homo habilis based on Skull 1813, without mandible.
The original Skull 1813 dates from the Pleistocene Period, 1.9 million years ago. It was discovered at Koobi Fora, Kenya, by Kamoya Kimeu in 1973. This replica has been modelled on the original skull. The lower jaw was not found with this specimen.
