Fell 1516 AD
A group of three medium octahedrite (IIICD) meteorites with metallic and silicate inclusions, from the witnessed and recorded 1516 AD fall in Nandon County, Guanxi Province, China, rediscovered in 1958.

Ex Lincolnshire collection; acquired 1990s-2012.
Footnotes
The meteorite has been assesed at about one billion years old and the pieces are generally about 92% iron and 6% nickel with some ten other minerals present, including kamacite, taenite, plessite, Scheribersite, triolite and graphite; the main part exploded, as recorded in Chinese texts, scattering fragments in the Lihu and Yaozhai town areas.
